Getting Ready for the BAPTISM....

I had awesome pictures taken of Isaac and my family last week!! I seriously don't know where the time has gone!!! I remember as if it was yesterday trying to get him born, now here it is 8 years later and I just pray that I have taught him everything he needs to know at this crucial time in his life. I ask him questions and I'm surprised at how much he knows and understands. He seems to understand far greater than I did at this age.

Baseball has come to an END!!

This year has been lots of fun for baseball. Isaac has had a great year and a great team. His coach was amazing to have such dedication at this age for baseball. We have seen Isaac improve immensely!! We are so proud of him for doing his best. Robert also made a deal with Isaac that if he hits it into the out field that he would pay him $5 for every time. I think he got paid at least $20 this year. Here are some fun pictures that we took.

Graduation

Okay some how we lost our camera battery charger and that is why this post has taken so long because I wanted to download the pictures. Knowing Lexi she most likely threw it away in the trash can.

All I can say is WOW!! Kylee had Preschool Graduation this past week. Everything was done perfectly!! If you are looking for preschool I would recommend Riverton High School. They have done a wonderful job with everything. When I told Kylee that today was her last day of school she got all sad, not only for her friends that she had made but the teachers.

Good Times....

We went on a little trip to St. George this last weekend!! It was a much needed getaway!! We rented a house with our best friends the Thomason Family. As we were driving home Robert and I were shocked at something Kylee had said. It was Isaac's turn to pick a movie to watch and he made the comment that it had to be something that Kylee didn't like (she couldn't have any pleasure in it). So Kylee proceed to tell Isaac that she hates the Barbie Mariposa movie!! She was smart enough to tell her bro that she didn't like it so that he would put it in. However Isaac saw right thru that one because he is no dummy either.

Mess after Mess with Lexi around!!

Isaac left hot chocolate on the counter after a cold practice of baseball. However as I have told all my children that they can't leave any drinks on the island or dinner table because Lexi can climb up and get anything on them. It seems like we keep having these issues and I don't think they will end unless my kids face the facts that nothing is sacred!! Part of me feel like they think it is funny almost intentionally!! See mom scream and see her clean it up and don't forget to laugh as mom carries Lexi to the tub!!

Easter

This is at grandma's house with cousin Izzy

Easter is done!! The dresses are done and I'll have to make some miner adjustments but all is well!! We took the dresses off after church and then off and on again two more times for grandmas to see!! They turned out to be really cute. I'm glad I attempted to make them and for my mother's help!!

This Easter thing isn't that bad!! I love Chocolate!!
What is this Easter thing about?

When your tired...

When your tired and looking for your Binky...sometimes you just have to give up the fight!! Lexi fell asleep while looking for her Binky. Robert and I were noticing the house was too quiet and went to check to see where the trouble maker went. To our surprise she was fast asleep under the crib!!

Kylee's Happy Birthday!!

My sweet Kylee is turning 5 today!! Where does the time go? From the moment that we found out that she was a girl we have loved every moment with her. I can't believe she will start Kindergarten in the fall this year!! She is pretty easy going child and has been her whole life!! Heavenly Father knew that I needed an easy child between two more challenging!!

Time.....

Okay so maybe I was thinking that I had too much time on my hands!!! I decided that this year instead of spending $50 a piece on Easter Dresses I would learn how to use my sewing machine that I got a few Christmas ago and make the Easter dresses with my mom's help!! As you can see in the picture we are close to being done!! However I really should have chosen easier fabric to sew with. But I couldn't make a dresses that looked homemade, plus I knew when Robert told me not to do it that made it a challenge. Easter is a couple more weeks and I am headed for the finish line!!

Lexi....

Yesterday while I was checking email and Kylee was at preschool Lexi went into Isaac's bedroom and found bubble gum tape. She shut the door to his room and when I went to find her there was gum every where with tiny pieces and a huge wad of gum in her mouth!! I tell ya she is going to be the death of me. She goes from one thing to the next. She is pure trouble!!! She is smart to so don't give me that she is innocent!!

Have you ever taken a 7 year old and 4 year old skiing??

You might want to reconsider when about to go on this adventure!! This was my second time going skiing and the first was 7 years ago when Isaac was a baby!! Really I was not much help to Rob. He had both Isaac and Kylee in between his legs while trying to do the tow rope at Alta. Isaac has been skiing before but apparently it had been too long. We did the tow rope until 3 pm and then two of the lifts were free so we attempted that. The first time Rob and I went down and then he took Kylee down. They had a small problem when Kylee's ski's crossed over Robert's and they instantly were in trouble. Kylee told me that her dad landed on her and her face was in the snow. Then Isaac and Rob went down and they did great. However we were in a rush and it was a battle to get the kids to the car because they were done and unfortunately we parked on the wrong side. We had only and hour to get home change pick up Lexi and go to Disney on Ice that started at 6:30!! Our good friends Spencer and Kelsey were there too. Both Rob and Spencer said that it is well worth it for ski lessons and that they would do that next before attempting this again. Click here to see the adventure!

Shoes may go...and come

If any of you truly know Robert then you know where this one will lead you...
Saturday morning we rushed to get ready because we had a full day planned!! As I held Lexi in my arms, about to put her in the car seat to go rent ski's for Isaac, Kylee and I. Robert willing took her and put her in as doing so he put Lexi's shoes on top of the car. When we arrived at Sports Authority and hop out he says "Kim did I give you her shoes?" I replied "NO". He casually says "oh well she was out growing them anyway."

As we load back in the car and are headed up 118th South, he quickly pulls over to the side to get out and chase the shoes that he miss placed. As he is running across the street Kylee says "Look at that cop he is going to run over Lexi's shoes." She is getting really upset and then Isaac says to her "Kylee it is Dad's fault for putting the shoes on top of the car!!" Needless to say we recovered the shoes and not even a mark was on them after their journey.

Sometimes we are faced with hard things...

This is my dad in the hospital on Christmas... He spent several days in the hospital when his finger became swollen and red with red streaks going up his arm. As many doctors tried to figure out what was happening with his finger it started to turn black at the tip. Needless to say with many hours in the hospital and even after getting out of the hospital with IV treatments and Hyper barrack Chamber treatments for two weeks after the visit in the hospital they have decided that tomorrow is the day that they will amputate the tip of his finger. I am amazed at my dad and how well he has done through all of this. I know this is an extremely hard thing for him to go through right now seeing how tax season is right around the corner. I just hope that all goes well tomorrow.

Good Old Time... Happy Birthday Ya Old Man!!

Our dear friends from high school got together on Robert's birthday!! Ryan and Ember live in Denver and decided that they were going to rent out this bounce house in Sandy for the night. It was so much fun to see everyone. It has been a long time since we have seen a lot of them. We had a great night and Robert really enjoyed his birthday because he could act like a kid and hang out with friends!!

Have any of you ever had to call Poison Control?

Last night I had the great adventure of calling poison control. Isaac came into the family room last night with a bottle of Listerine. I asked him what he was doing and he replied I am going to use this. When he had his surgery he had to use it to keep his mouth clean. I told him that he had to go put it back. If you all know Isaac he didn't put it back. However I told him that he need to be in the bathroom because you don't swallow it and need to spit it out. I went to go check my email and Lexi came into the office. I picked her up and she smelled of Listerine. I quickly asked Isaac why she smells and he gave me a lame excuse that her elbow got in it. A few minutes went buy and I went to give her milk and noticed the smell directly from her mouth. Again I questioned my seven year old son!! Yes he finally said I gave her a syringe full of it. With the urge to strangle a seven year old I quickly grabbed the bottle of Listerine that says keep away from children and if swallowed more than the dose then call poison control. As I sent Isaac to his bed I dialed poison control to find out what I needed to do. The lady was very nice and said that I need to keep her awake for an hour to watch her. basically she was drunk from the alcohol in the Listerine and I need to make sure she wasn't too sleepy. While watching her she would run into walls and was walking wobbly. Lexi seemed to be fine but I don't recommend giving Listerine to a 14 month old. The lady at poison control said what would make your seven year old give her Listerine? I said well it is Isaac. She laughed and said that maybe you should talk to him a little more and say whatever isn't good for you is not good for your baby sister. Word to the wise stay clear of Listerine.
This is the best picture that we have of Lexi. She doesn't like to sit still long. I waited too long to find them Christmas dresses this year. We had to piece them together from all the different stores to make them work!! At least I saved money!!
Isaac got a new suit for Christmas this year. The girls always get new Sunday Clothes but Isaac never gets them for Christmas. He was so pleased with himself. I think that he totally loved it!! We don't have long before he gets baptized!!
